welcome;

hello, everyone! this is it. this is the end of kaifectionery’s first round and opening of 2016-2017! it’s been such a wonderful journey that lasted over the better part of six months and we’re so happy we could all share in the love for kim jongin :) we would love to thank all the prompters, writers, readers, and support team for all the readers and writers of this fest. it’s been such a wonderful experience ;u;

hello writers, readers, everyone! i didn't think that when i had the idea of starting a fest it would actually get anywhere, and seeing it with my own eyes makes my heart feel very warm inside. i'm so proud of what this fest has become and that people really anticipated it and liked being apart of it. however, i would like to sincerly apologize for my lack of asistance in taking part in this fest. my life... has just been a rollercoaster these days and it really makes me sad that i wasn't able to be apart of this the way i wanted to be, especially since it was my idea in the first place. regardless of all that, thank you mod sour for all your help, thank you writers for all your hard work, thank you readers for sharing your thoughts and love, and thank you all for making all this a wonderful experience for me!

hello, sweets! i just wanted to thank everyone for such a successful first round. despite almost doing this entirely on my own, it’s my first time modding for a fest (and messing… with… twitter??), but i sign up and write for other fests as well so i hoped to help make this one a more pleasurable experience for all of you who participated in any way possible ;u; so i want to say thank you (prompters, writers, readers, support team) for being so wonderful and making this an amazing experience for me as well as for all the writers’ hard work! they deserve all the love in the world ♥

some numbers;

overall, the fest accumulated 360 prompts and had about 60+ claimers. in the end, we received 42 fics and almost 400,000 words (399.99k)! out of these stories, the most we have is 9 jongin/d.o. fics followed by 8 jongin/sehun fics and 7 jongin/chanyeol fics. the least amount we have is jongin/lay, jongin/kris, and jongin/luhan with about 1 story each, sadly. (but there’s always next time…?) and lastly, we would also like to especially thank the writers who wrote more than one story for our event: capricious_moon and soybean_88!
