djasjdjas im squealing this was sooooooooo gentle and fluffy and soft and sweet and STELLAR ahhhh
i like the pacing of the story it was soo pleasant and calming i cant explain it well but??? very enjoyable i mean!!! it's so nice to read a pure fic like this, no drama, just friendship and love and it's so ajdjafksk <3
both of them were equally my favorites, jongin was super nice and patient and i looooved that so much!! and kyungsoo's character was amazing too, he's so lovely despite his insecurities but im glad jongin is by his side to remind him everytime that kyungsoo is his planet that jongin orbits around ;;;;;;; even though this is prob classified as a space au of sorts, with nerdy!kaisoo (fact, if you're passionate about something, you're a nerd hahahah <3) you absolutely nailed the relationship progress from between them as well! im not kidding that i'd read 100k of just both of them cuddling and stargazing and being comfy toasty domestic (also preferably written by you!!) :))

i'm B A C K! i'm so deeply in love with this fic. it's my currently fave bc it brought yes to my eyes from how wonderfully this was written and the progression of the story had me clutching on my chest from these overwhelming feels. i have no words but i love you and this is beautiful. i even messaged my friend and told her to read this ASAP just bc damn it's really the fic i've been waiting for my whole life. i love nerdy ksoo who loves space and glaxies, black holes... gosh, this is so perfect and i really can't stop thinking abt this fic after reading it.

also, the touch of reality was here, their insecurities at the end and how they were able to comfort each other from it and then ksoo's feelings, his background, i feel so sad when he opened up to jongin and jongin was so willing to accept him for who he is and it's just so ideal of them. what they have is so ideal.

the story is perfect as it is and i'd definitely reread this again. this fic is so special... and i thank you for writing kaisoo. i hope you'll write more kaisoo bc i'm reading them all.

Alright. Upon their first encounter I AM ALREADY HOOKED. Nerd Kyungsoo is life. Kyungsoo was painfully, and adorably awkward but I love it. I can relate to Jongin while reading this fic because I am Jongin, who's absorbing all these new information that Kyunggsoo throws. I cooed at te sigh of sleeping Kyungsoo, that was so cute. I felt Jongin's admiration for Kyungsoo even from the start, tbh.

Kyungsoo's character is so on point. But my favorite part where it showed another side of him is when Jongin visited his loft the first time. That's what you call character dimension, and, you did a good job holy shit.

Oh my god. The ending part, where they talk about tiptoeing the line and about to sleep and have sex, damn, that conversation was so lovely and healthy. I can see their trust with one another, and how their relationship blossomed to that. I can't remember any kaisoo fics that had that kind of beautiful conversation?

This is so beautiful, and so romantic. I love this fic. My fave so far from everything I read in 2017. I will find you. Good job!

I am so happy that you liked who I put together Kyungsoo's character and the compliment for his character dimension means a lot because I remember rewriting and thinking about his "opening up" scene a lot.

I'm also happy that you noticed and pointed out the healthiness and trust they have. After putting in the 'real' part after their confession I thought it was important for Kyungsoo's character to have them approach the whole topic that way and I'm glad someone noticed <3

This was a story I read progressively over three days. I might actually be slow and busy, but it's also because this is a fic that needs time. You can't just skim this, you gotta snuggle up under your warm blanket (possibly with chocolate, but that's optional) and really take your time with this. Because the characters certainly do, going at things at their own pace.

Everything built up slowly, but steadily, so my heart could twitch and ache accordingly when it burst so suddenly by Soo deciding to just kiss him already! *haha*
I like how Jongin stepped out of the frame Kyungsoo liked to put everything in, showing the self-awareness that life ain't no high school movie~
For a sec I feared there would be a quick smut scene squished in -just for the sake of it- but then I was really glad you didn't.

Last but not least I enjoyed all the space facts. I have zero clue about astronomy, but I had faith in you looking up all the little facts, so when Soo called Pluto a planet I stumbled a little, but was certain that it would be resolved later - and it did ♡

I saw this prompt, and I never expected it to become such a long, sweet story. Thanks for devoting so much love and time to this, it certainly payed off, in my opinion ♡

I honestly thought about wether to include a smut scene or not because the prompt was open for NC-17 but when I looked at Jongin's and Kyungsoo's character dynamic and how they work, I realized I couldn't. They weren't ready yet.
I'm glad, relieved and happy that this decision gets so much positive feedback!

I really liked how passionate Kyungsoo towards the things he like. :') I loved how their relationship progressed and how Soo opened up to Jongin.

I burned with the romance. /sighs. Jongin's really patient. Although Soo may have some insecurities, I'm glad Jongin's there to reassure him and shower him with love and affection. And the talk they had on the end was really good <3

This is beyond beautiful.

I'm fond of reading fics with space references but this, this, is different. You took it to another level and I learnt things in the process, that is what it makes it a different experience.

I'm so in love with this one <3 from the references, to the characters, to the development, the dialogues. One of my favorite things was Kyungsoo being so talkative about space with Jongin, how he would shy away first and then became comfortable.

I like that Jongin started wondering about stars/the planetarium out of his own interest before he even met Kyungsoo and not because he met him.

Sobs, I want to watch (or more specifically: hear) Jongin's show. His posts on the Exo fanboard always have such lovely wordings, I'm sure he would come up with a great presentation at a planetarium show, too.

That feeling when you're an introvert and like living alone but sometimes it does feel a bit lonely... of course I might be projecting but I think I understand Kyungsoo well.

Jongin encouraging Kyungsoo was really amazing. He's a good friend. And I love how you showed that categories like popular kid and nerdy guy are stupid and don't define people.

Their relationship is really precious – both before and after the love confession. I like that it doesn't magically make Kyungsoo's insecurities disappear. Because, lbr, it's just never that easy irl and when that's something you can relate to as a reader and writers go that ooooh-love-now-all-your-problems-are-gone route, it just makes you blank-face, like o...kay... not really. But you didn't do that! You gave the characters time to develop, and little successes, and setbacks, and someone who's like “hey, you can do it, I believe in you.” And that's what really means the world <3

The flow is so nice, and the writing even better. I love how poetic it is. Also character!!! development!!! Yeees~~ AND THE SPACE, I LOVE IT SO MUCH. It's so fascinating, so mysterious, so beautiful.
