OMG!! thank you so much for writing such a good fic for chankai! this is perfect ^^

i loved them both so much. chanyeol insecurities about the fake relationship with jongin and his real relationship with kyungsoo. jongin's confidence and how easy going he was. he was so charming! they fit together so well. i loved them. ahhh the casual touches, the kisses, their conversations, everything was cute

i also loved the rest of the characters a lot. Yura is awesome (Jo Insung?? did she marry Jo Insung? damn girl! congratulations, yura!)

fake dating au in this setting can be cliché tbh but idk, reading this despite having some clichéd elements, it seemed fresh. it was really nice to read :) i really enjoyed it!

"Yeah, go find your boy," Baekhyun says, all but shoving Chanyeol out of the kitchen. "I'll help Kyungsoo find the groom. I'm nice like that."—LOL IS Baekhyun on a mission or is he on a mission?

”Jongin makes a confused face. "He doesn't steal the blankets or anything, if that's what you mean." —DONT LET THIS ONE GO CHANYEOL.

Baekhyun across the room, looking arguably more determined than he ever has. —ON a mission INDEED, GET IT BAEK.


Chanyeol sighs, willing himself to be firm, "I really think we should talk." —YES responsibility even in the arms of temptation.

cries a million tears all over this fic!!!! chankai and fake-dating two of my favorite things! this was so so lovely. i really enjoyed jongin's sauve, charming (yet occasionally shy) attitude in contrast to chanyeol literally freaking the fuck out in the beginning over everything. the smooth way jongin came up with the story about how they met was so great, and all their little touches and kisses that became more and more natural as the weekend went on ahhhhhh it was perfect. i liked how chansoo were able to discuss their past without it turning into some major argument, that they've both grown up since then and are willing to be friends again.

the kiss chankai share when chanyeol ties jongin's knot for him asjdkf;alsdf my hEART and just chanyeol trying to sort out his feelings about whether he's pretending or not was really well done, i could feel his uncertainties as well as his want, how much he didn't want the weekend to end bc it let him be with jongin more. when they kiss while dancing that was so perfect and then finally confessing to e/o how they felt and wanted everything to be real. T____T i loved it so much. also the side baeksoo was delightful lol go for it baekhyun get what u want!!

omgosh this was so adorable i can't even take it. i loved how jongin was the one in charge trying to take care of giant manbaby chanyeol and falling for his complete lack of charms. and that romcom tie kiss moment -- super, super cute.

Chanyeol snorts. "What, short and capable of bench-pressing you?"
Baekhyun sticks his tongue out at him. "Maybe I want to be bench-pressed."

ok so where do i start. this was amazing!!! i kind of started off focusing on the wrong pairing bc i got distracted by junmyeon and his photographer boyfriend whom he had been with for four and a half years and loved very much. i got too swayed by the suchen early on but!! the chankai soon kept up and i couldn't stop reading from then on. i loved how there were detailed parts, just the right amount without it being too much and unnecessary. you managed to focus on the chankai as both a plot (the fake dating) and main pairing even through lots of other side plots (chanyeol's writing career, kyungsoo, kind of meeting the parents, the preparations, the wedding) and side characters. the way you wrote the wedding enabled me to picture how warmly beautiful and elegant and homely it was! the "problem" with kyungsoo was neatly solved and, of course, i can't simply miss out on the baeksoo, can i? tHE BAEKSOO. wow. who knows, maybe kyungsoo's the type who's into bench-pressing people. on a more, uh, family-appropriate note, i'm still wondering how you managed to include some of the pairings i ship most. honestly that was a very great read. and the chankai!!!!! was utterly sweet and all sorts of perfect. i loved this so much thank you for writing! :D

this was such a fun read! the way chankai progressed from fake dating to being in love came off so naturally and i love the characterisations you gave them. i can completely imagine jongin acting the way he did in this fic, confident and smooth and laid back, with chanyeol being insecure and emotional and still hung up on kyungsoo. i also really liked the part where jongin improv'd the story about their first meeting. everything about this fic was sweet + a great mix of realistic and romcom. (and +++ for best friends baekyeol!!) thank you for writing this ♡

i've been so excited to read this ever since it was posted but didn't have the time until today, and it was absolutely worth the wait!
i loved this so much, everything was just so easy between them and i think i spent at least 99% of this fic grinning like a fool. a;lksdf i was so in love with jongin in this fic, he was so cute and confident and sweet and so good to chanyeol and i nearly cheered out loud when they kissed before the wedding when they were all ~alone because YES GET IT!!!

i also adored your junmyeon in this, he was so funny and so very junmyeon lol.

Omg this was my prompt! I'm so sorry I couldn't comment so early because :(

I really loved every single bit of it, it's even way better than what I've wanted and asked for (THANK YOU), fake dating is such a big weakness for me, and you gave me a fluffy, cute fake-pretend chankai fic and I didn't keep smiling like a fool while reading it, like at all, because this is so gross.

Let me start with Jongin, he's so charming, confident yet shy at times but he was adorable especially when he was sleepy , because YES! sleepy jongin is another weakness for me, I like how he made everyone believe they are a real couple even though Chanyeol wasn't really a good actor, my favorite part was this :

""What about something more subtle, to show him a new side of you? Like… I'm some timid little thing - clinging to your sleeve, hiding under your arm, stuff like that - and you're the suave charmer bringing me out of my shell?" He tilts his head at Chanyeol. "Or even vice-versa, if you're more into that. I can play the dominant one instead.""

^ This was really so funny, I felt like he was talking about playing a role in a drama or something.

Now let's talk about awkward Chanyeol, because he was so paranaoid and this made him even more cute, this is really how I imagined Chanyeol when I left the prompt, hot but awkward, it was so obvious that he was trying to find a closure for his failed relationship with Kyungsoo, but at some point I was so scared when they talked again (in the living room) because I felt like they are trying to rekindle an old flame, when Jongin was attracted to him.

"Well, I did try sad poetry for a while." That sets Jongin off laughing again, nearly doubled over in the middle of the hall. "It never got published, thank god. Junmyeon refused to read it. He said if he wanted to be unsettled, he'd pick up a horror novel. So I wrote him a horror novel."

^ This really made me laugh, I want to see what kind of poems he wrote to make Junmyeon ask for horror novels insted lol.

This side characters as well were great, I loved Yura, kyungsoo and Junmyeon so much.I really can't find the words to thank you for going out of your way to write this beautiful fic for me. Thank you for the time and effort you put into this story, I truely loved and enjoyed reading it and you satisfied my deprieved chankai feels.
