the prompt archive is linked below this section. click on it to view all the prompts. note that there are three tabs to which you can view the prompts: ALL PROMPTS, PROMPTS BY PAIRING, and TRIGGER WARNING PROMPTS. *prompts we believe may have triggering content have been moved to the last tab presented.
note which prompts you would absolutely love to write and then narrow it down to three. put your favorite choice as 'prompt choice #1' then list the rest in order of what you want to write in case someone else gets to your favorite prompt first.
once you have your list, fill out the form below and leave it as a comment in this post below.
wait for us to respond to your comment, and then you're good to go! (we will be running on GMT-5 time.)
2016 KAIFECTIONERY PROMPT ARCHIVE
basic rules;
anyone can claim a prompt as long as you have a LJ, AFF, or AO3 account. you must have a username and email; it's required. if you prefer to be anonymous at the end during reveals, please talk to us about it.
you may only claim one prompt at a time. if you complete your chosen prompt and have submitted it in its entirety, you are free to claim another prompt. simply talk to us first so there aren't any misunderstandings.
you are free to drop out if you feel you cannot write your story anymore. we would like this fest to be as stress-free as possible (you can even vent to us, if you'd like!), so please let us know as soon as you can if you need to drop out because of life reasons.
the final draft of your fic must be 2500 words, no less. however, feel free to write a novel if inspiration hits! (please note that there are also check-ins, which will be further explained and sent out with emails a week or two before it arrives.)
as a repeat from the introduction post, all work should be able to stand alone; they can not be continuations of previous stories nor can they be plagiarized in any way. we wouldn't want to cheat jongin when he's been so genuine with us all this time, right?
lastly, part of the fun of the fest is trying to figure out who wrote what story. please do not discuss your chosen prompt and/or story on any social platform or post your story yourself before the big reveals. do not plagiarize anything as well. jongin only deserves the best in the world, please don't cheat him out of it!
