well..how do i start.... it kinda hit like a slow start at the beginning.. (ifeelitwasslowerformykindaofpace...maybe its not for the others...SORRY~)
then the story just grew..then somehow i appreciate the pace more..it kinda give space and time for you to take it all in....
the characters and the details just works. I love love love the inner talk of jongin and chanyeol....esp when chanyeol was figuring out abt his work and changed it to make something abt jongin...
and i definitely love chanyeol's adoration for jongin....the way he just notice everything about jongin...esp abt his smile and how gorgeous jongin is (YES CHANYEOL I GET YOU! his smile *i died*)

So definitely such a great read..! thank you author-nim for sharing and for the ever so so sweeeet chankai! Fighting!

i loved their pinning. you had me saying out loud "Agh! can't you tell??" to chanyeol when jongin was about to say something and stopped lol

I really really really loved the mood of this story. It was so warm and soothing, like a cup of hot chocolate after a long day of work. The way you wrote this had me smiling fondly more than once, even if I felt the occasional urge to shake both of them for being so blind! (But that's the beauty of mutual pining fics LOL feeling the frustration, but anticipating the moment when they'll finally clue in on the fact that they're both head over heels for each other.)
I am so weak for well written age-gap and mutual pining, as well as coffee shop AUs, so this story was exactly right for me. I also appreciated how... ordinary this was. I know it might not sound like a compliment, but I definitely meant it as one. There are no wild schemes, no over the top, crazy chemistry or too much drama - all things that would have messed with the lovely flow of this story. Instead you wrote about two men living their lives, two men crossing paths and finding something in each other that tells them this is where they want to stay - right next to each other. The simplicity of their conversations, the way they talked about every-day things, a little awkward, but totally focused on each other, was probably my favorite thing about this story. It was all the sweeter because everything was so normal. They didn't talk about anything extraordinarily interesting, but they were still completely in the moment, still happy to be there and listen to the other talk, because they were genuinely interested to learn even the most mundane thing about the other and that is more romantic than anything else to me. It makes me feel so many things and was a big part of why I loved this fic so much.
And Chanyeol, who's usually well-spoken and witty, turning into a shy and awkward puddle of feelings around Jongin was just too adorable! Also their first meeting, with both of them with the pink hair, that was actually such a cute and clever way of getting them to talk!

I loved it, I loved the mood, I loved the way your story and writing made me feel, loved how happy and content I was after reading that last sentence. In my book a story is a success when it leaves me with a smile on my face and your fic most definitely did!
