Okay, first of all thank you for choosing my prompt! Im so thankful for it because based on a few prompts that i sent, i didnt expect someone will claim this one, so thank you!
Anyway, let me just tell you that i really LOVE this fic. You really wrote it well and its really beyond my expectation, so good job! *pat your back* Despite of me being the one who submit this prompt, i actually doesnt read much celebrity au but this one, oh my god, im impressed! The pining is real! Fyi, mutual pining fics are my type! I really have to read it till the end because i know its gonna be worth it.
The plot is well paced, i really love the slow burn eventho it makes me scream out of frustration and thats why i love it lol. From the beginning, i already feel the tension between jongin and kyungsoo and it really make me wonder why kyungsoo despise his ex boyfriend so much. It really make me wanna read more. One thing that i like about this fic is the multiple confrontations that they had throughout this story, and every confrontation made them closer than before. You try to tie the loose ends, baby steps. It makes the story more realistic since we know people cant forgive so easily and it has been 6 years since the break up without any closure, so the build up emotions such as sad, anger, disappointment, confusion, etc, shshdhdhhjjsks kyungsoo is a mess! So i can see how badly kyungsoo was hurt from their break up.
From what i understand, kyungsoo is actually traumatized by the break up, thats why he really try to avoid any interactions with jongin on set, its like his protective mechanism. And because meeting jongin bring back all the negative feelings he has towards him so he cant help it when sometimes hes being immature when they interact. During the scene where kyungsoo try to end things with jongin, i can see hes really scared to make it official, because he can see their relationship will end badly same like 6 years ago but i think thats not true, theyre both a better person now.
Eventho its angst, i really love when you put some fluff too, like when they stargazing together, that is so cute, typical jongin watching kyungsoo instead of the stars lol. I really like the ending, the article about them meeting in the cafe, its cute and unique the way you try to end the story. They dont mind about rumors or netizens anymore. The acting scenes too! Eventho, its just acting but the way you write it, it make me feel like theyre more than just acting, the emotion is real and thats important because thats one of the things that i want when i submit the prompt, how exboyfriends act a lovey dovey scene together, the emotions that they feel must be complicated and you convey it really well.
So thank you once again for choosing my prompt, and i really love this! This story is really one hell of a ride, fill with emotional roller coaster thats gonna make you screammmm lol.

Wow. This is a longgggg and beautiful one-shot fic!
I love the love-hate, push-pull relationship between kaisoo. It is so cute!
I know how broken kyungsoo is, but can i give thumb up fir jongin's patience?
I really like when he came up with love song and tell the fans about his love.

Beautifully written.

Characters' reactions are believable, emotions are strongly presented, most cliches are subverted. I got very invested in the characters. Strangely, I found Kyungsoo to be more sympathetic than Jongin. I'm probably too set in my tropes.

I absolutely love everything about this story! I started reading it expecting Jongin and Kyungsoo hating each other but getting together after falling in love with each other again on the filming set, lots of clichés and fluff, I mean... and boy, was I wrong!
This was an emotional ride and totally my type of angst, I love it ;;;;;;;;;;
The story is so well written and the characters emotions are so deep, especially Kyungsoo's feelings. I could feel the hurt, the struggle, the loneliness, we could have had it all playing in the background(?), everything /clutches heart/
And the way you described Jongin's idol life so realistically struck me, well done!
