It's been awhile since i read something like this...kaisoo are not in a relationship but kinda???? i love kaisoo fics like this where it focuses more on their pure relationship more than the romantic side tho i can sense that kaisoo have subtle romantic feelings for each other here. their relationship and friendship is very admirable. they lean and depend on each other and the care they have for each other makes me feel so jealous!! i love their dynamics here and i admire how beautifully you've written this piece. it has a lulling effect to me really.
i feel bad for jongin and ksoo tho. they are rich kids but i can tell there's a gaping hole in their hearts with jongin's family problems and maybe ksoo getting lost, probably finding himself yet ends up in jail. they are just both lost and most definitely it's obvious they find themselves complete with each other.
“Frankly, I’ve never been sure what kind of relationship we have.” Jongin thinks back to New York, again, and how estranged he’d felt. “Sometimes I feel like I barely know you.”
“I’ve never felt that way. I’d always thought we had a good relationship. A positive one.”
“Yeah, but would you call it platonic? Is it permanent? Barely exceeding acquaintanceship? Something in between?”
“Why does it matter what you call it? We care about each other, isn’t that good enough?”
ugh these lines hurt my heart... how i hope there's really something more.
