Round 2016: Final Submission Guidelines

FINAL SUBMISSIONS introduction;

may 13 – prompting closes
may 20 – claiming opens
july 15 – first check-in
september 16 – second check-in
october 21 – claiming closes
december 23 – final submissions (#happy5yearswithkai!)

basic rules;
before you turn in your creation, make sure you include all the html coding for italicized, bold, and underlined text in your word document as well as contain the minimum word limit of 2500 words. otherwise, those effects won’t be shown when we post it. if you’d like someone to beta it, please consult this post.
the following text formats we prefer are .doc and .docx. if you can’t do either, then it should be fine to send it in whatever format you’re able to save it in. google docs should now be fine. please attach your creation; do not copy and paste it into the body of the email.
the first line of your story is what we will be putting as the text cut. if you prefer otherwise, please let us know.
if the deadline is coming up but you still need more time to craft your beauty, please let us know as soon as possible! ask for an extension and we’ll try our best to help accommodate you. if you’re story is longer than 30k words, please separate it into 12-15k parts and attach each as a separate document. for stories longer than 10k, we will be posting to dreamwidth instead so there should be no need to separate your story into parts. if you’re concerned with the length of your story, please come to us and we’ll talk out how you prefer to do the posting.

and finally, below is the format you should include in the body of your email. you do not need to add anything to the top of your document.
